1. Scope and acceptance

These terms govern use of the website operated by TerraShield Exteriors Ltd. dba Terrashield Metals ("Terrashield", "we", "us"). By using the website, you agree to these website terms. A quotation, accepted order, invoice, incorporated warranty, or other written agreement governs a product purchase and prevails where it is more specific. Website use alone does not create a sale, supply commitment, design engagement, or professional-services relationship.

2. Products and business scope

Terrashield fabricates identified roll-formed metal siding and roofing profiles, project-specific lengths, and supported flashings and trim. Availability, gauge, finish, quantity, lead time, price, delivery, and fabrication feasibility require written confirmation for the actual order.

Unless a signed written agreement expressly says otherwise, Terrashield is a product fabricator and does not act as the project architect, engineer, building-envelope consultant, code consultant, general contractor, or installer. The project team remains responsible for design, permits, supports, attachments, drainage, interfaces, installation, safety, inspection, and code compliance.

3. Website product and technical information

Website pages, drawings, renders, samples, and public guides provide general product identification and planning information. Dimensions shown on a profile drawing describe formed geometry only unless the document expressly states otherwise. They do not establish structural capacity, support spacing, fastener selection or spacing, roof slope, fire classification, weathertightness, service life, or a complete wall or roof assembly.

Use the current document code, issue, revision, and date in the Technical Document Library. An accepted order and its approved project documents control the supplied product. Do not use information from another profile or manufacturer as a substitute.

4. Quotes and orders

A website form submission or informal discussion is a request for review, not an accepted order. A quotation is subject to the scope, validity period, assumptions, exclusions, taxes, payment terms, and delivery terms stated in that quotation. An order is accepted only through Terrashield's written order process. Changes to dimensions, quantities, materials, finishes, drawings, delivery, or project conditions may require a revised quotation and written acceptance.

5. Visualizer, renders, colours, and samples

The 3D visualizer and website renders are communication aids, not fabrication drawings or colour standards. Screen settings, lighting, texture scale, image processing, material lots, and viewing conditions can change appearance. Confirm product geometry through the applicable current record and confirm finish selection through the accepted order and an appropriate physical sample where colour or texture is material to the project.

6. Permitted use and intellectual property

Website content is owned by Terrashield or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view, download, and print current public technical documents for legitimate evaluation, purchasing, design coordination, construction administration, installation planning, care, warranty, or property records involving Terrashield products. You may not remove document-control information, alter a document, present an altered or superseded document as current, rebrand our content, or use it to misrepresent another product.

Third-party names, standards, trademarks, supplier records, and materials remain subject to their owners' rights. Nothing on this website claims exclusive rights in an industry-standard profile concept or another party's work.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the website to:

• submit unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, malicious, or knowingly false material;
• attempt unauthorized access, disrupt service, bypass security, or introduce harmful code;
• scrape or overload the website in a way that materially interferes with normal operation; or
• use public documents outside their stated scope or alter revision records in a misleading way.

8. Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to services operated by others, including hosting, forms, maps, analytics, or external references. Their services and privacy practices are governed by their own terms. A link does not make third-party content part of a Terrashield order, warranty, or technical representation.

9. Website availability and liability

We may maintain, change, suspend, or withdraw website features and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Terrashield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising solely from website use or temporary unavailability. This website clause does not replace an accepted order or incorporated warranty and does not restrict a right, remedy, condition, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.

10. Warranty and statutory rights

A product warranty applies according to the document code, issue, and revision incorporated into the accepted order or invoice and provided for that purchase. Current public manufacturing-warranty information is available through the Warranty Centre. A later website edition does not silently replace the revision fixed for an earlier purchase. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information and how to revisit analytics consent. Do not send government identification, payment-card or banking details, medical information, passwords, or unrelated sensitive records through a general form or ordinary email.

12. Governing law and changes

These website terms are governed by British Columbia law and applicable federal Canadian law, subject to mandatory rights, protections, limitation periods, and forums that apply where you reside or where another court or tribunal has jurisdiction. We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised date and text. A website update does not amend an accepted order, incorporated warranty, or accrued legal right unless the applicable agreement and law permit that change.
