Terrashield roll-forming lines in the production workshop

Metal panel manufacturing

Metal panels, made to the actual order.

Work directly with the team that roll-forms the panels, cuts them to project lengths, coordinates supporting trim, and prepares the finished order for pickup or freight.

Minimum order
One panel
Standard production
Typically 3-5 days

Manufacturing capabilities

From steel coil to finished project-length panels.

Terrashield roll-forms siding and roofing profiles, cuts panels to the project schedule, fabricates supported trims from approved dimensioned sections, and prepares the order for pickup or freight.

01

Panel profiles

TerraGroove, TerraLap, and TerraCrest

02

Order size

One panel through project quantities

03

Panel lengths

Cut against the approved schedule

04

Supporting trims

Quoted from approved cross-sections

05

Fulfilment

Workshop pickup or quoted freight

Typical standard-profile production is 3 to 5 business days, subject to material availability and the current production schedule. The quotation provides the applicable estimate.

Production sequence

From a buildable schedule to finished panels.

The fastest orders are the clearest ones. Profile, finish, lengths, quantities, trims, and destination need to be resolved before the material reaches the line.

01

Production brief

We review the selected profile, finish, finished panel lengths, quantities, trim sections, and delivery destination. Missing dimensions are resolved before pricing or production.

02

Material confirmation

The quotation identifies the profile, gauge, decimal BMT, finish, applicable material information, supply path, and estimated production window.

03

Line setup + roll forming

Prepainted coil is loaded into the appropriate line and formed progressively through the profile-specific roller stations in the workshop.

04

Cut + order check

Panels are cut to the approved production schedule, counted, checked against the order, and prepared for pickup or transport protection.

05

Pickup or quoted freight

Workshop pickup is available. Delivery and long-distance freight are quoted according to the finished panel lengths, order size, unloading plan, and destination.

Manufacturing scope

Know what is on the line before the quote starts.

Clear exclusions are part of professional manufacturing. They prevent a price from quietly promising a product, system, or engineering service that is not actually included.

Ready to quote

  • TerraGroove 300 and TerraLap 200 siding
  • TerraCrest 100 and 200 roofing or siding panels
  • Standard-profile orders from one panel upward
  • Project-specific finished panel lengths
  • Supporting trims from approved dimensioned sections
  • Workshop pickup or destination-based freight

Separate or excluded scope

  • A new continuous siding shape without dedicated tooling review
  • Generic fastener or third-party hardware packages
  • Wide architectural fascia or vented soffit systems
  • Structural spans, fastening schedules, or wall-assembly engineering
  • Fire ratings, service-life claims, or warranties not supported by separate documents
  • Unpriced free delivery outside a confirmed quotation

Material traceability

State exactly what the certificate proves.

The current mill certificate supports the stock description below. Each future lot needs its own receiving record and documentation.

Material
70% PVDF prepainted Galvalume
Specification
ASTM A792-AZ150
Gauge
26 gauge
Thickness
0.48 mm BMT / 0.52 mm TCT
Document scope
Current identified stock

Material documentation describes the current coil stock. It is not a substitute for project-specific wall, roof, fire, or structural design.

Production-ready quotation

Send the information that changes the price.

A usable brief reduces clarification loops and keeps the quotation tied to what can actually be made and transported.

Manufacturing FAQ

Scope, timing, and documentation.

These answers describe the current operating scope. Final terms belong in the written quotation for the actual order.

How does Terrashield manufacture metal siding?

Current Terrashield panel profiles are roll-formed and cut from prepainted steel coil. Raw coil is sourced separately and its current specification is confirmed through the applicable mill documentation.

What metal siding profiles are in current production?

The current production scope includes TerraGroove 300, TerraLap 200, and TerraCrest 100 and 200. Other catalogue concepts are not treated as available unless confirmed in writing on a quotation.

Can Terrashield manufacture with 24-gauge or 22-gauge material?

Yes, by project order where the selected profile lists that gauge. TerraGroove and TerraLap list 24 and 26 gauge. TerraCrest 100 and TerraCrest 200 both list 22, 24, and 26 gauge. Non-stock material is confirmed for decimal BMT, finish, quantity, documentation, and lead time before production.

Is there a minimum manufacturing order?

No. A standard-profile order may be as small as one panel. The buyer still needs to provide an approved finished length, profile, finish, and pickup or delivery plan.

What is the typical metal panel production time?

Typical production for standard profiles is 3 to 5 business days, subject to material availability and the current production schedule. The project quotation provides the applicable estimate rather than an unconditional deadline.

Can Terrashield manufacture a completely custom siding profile?

Not as a normal press-brake service. A new continuous siding geometry generally requires dedicated roll-form tooling and a separate feasibility review. Terrashield can quote supported trims for current panel systems from approved dimensioned sections.

Does Terrashield supply fasteners, fascia, or vented soffit systems?

Not as part of the current standard manufacturing scope. Fasteners are specified by the installer or system designer. Terrashield does not currently offer a generic fascia package or a vented soffit system.

What does the mill certificate establish?

For the current documented stock, it establishes the listed material specification, gauge, base-metal and total-coated thicknesses, coating description, and mechanical values. It does not establish a tested wall assembly, structural span, fastening schedule, fire rating, installed service life, or warranty.

Can Terrashield review drawings for a quotation?

Yes. Drawings can be used to identify panel lengths, counts, transitions, and trim sections. Terrashield reviews production feasibility, while the project's qualified designer and installer remain responsible for the building assembly and code compliance.

Need a manufacturable quote?

Send the profile, lengths, quantities, finish, and destination.

Start with the building, preferred profile or look, approximate quantities, finish, destination, and timing. Add the final panel schedule and trim sections when ready.
